Plan A Kitchen Around How You Use It
The layout is the starting point for a kitchen renovation. MDK Renovations works with you on a design plan that considers your style, preferences and the way you move through the space. Detailed mock-ups help you see the proposed kitchen and discuss changes before construction begins.

Start With Your Priorities
Think about the parts of your current kitchen that work and the parts that interrupt your routine. The positions of cabinets, appliances, counters and lighting need to be considered together. A preferred look is useful, but the design also needs to account for storage, preparation space and how people share the room.
Before choosing every finish, identify what should stay, what needs to move and where more usable space would make a difference. A design mock-up gives you an opportunity to review the arrangement and discuss adjustments before construction.
Bring photographs of the existing room and examples of kitchens you like. Identify the changes that matter most and the questions you want the design to resolve. The mock-up is an opportunity to review the layout together before the building work starts.
Tell us which cabinets, appliances or finishes you want to retain. Those preferences need to be considered with the existing room and the proposed layout before the renovation scope is settled.
You can begin with your priorities and a few references. The layout, cabinet arrangement, countertops and lighting should be discussed together, so the first conversation can identify the choices that still need to be made.
Kitchen design and layout planning connect with MDK’s wider kitchen renovation service, including cabinets, fixtures and finishes. Explain whether you are planning a complete room update or want to discuss a more focused change.
