Plan Your Drywall Work
Drywall installation and repair are part of MDK Renovations’ custom carpentry service list. Start by identifying the walls or ceilings involved and whether the work concerns an existing surface or a new arrangement.
The Surfaces Needing Installation Or Repair
Photographs And A Description Of The Current Condition
Related Framing, Painting Or Renovation Work

Make The Extent Of The Work Clear
Describe the condition of the area and any other renovation work taking place. The drywall request should be considered alongside framing and the finishing work around it, so the extent of the project is clear.
Identify each wall or ceiling area involved and explain why it needs work, if known. Include surrounding surfaces and related renovation plans so the discussion reflects the actual condition of the room.
Tell us which parts of the space will remain and which will change. If you know why a surface was opened or damaged, include that information. MDK can discuss the work and any questions that need to be resolved before defining the drywall scope.
Provide clear photographs and describe the location, extent and known history of the issue. Include any reason the surface was opened or damaged, rather than assuming the same repair for every situation.
Yes. Share the proposed arrangement and related renovation work. Framing, drywall and the finishing work around them should be considered together when defining the project.
